About Us

Parlkarna was founded as an Indigenous support initiative by the senior management team at MBS Facilities Management. Driven by a genuine commitment to empower Indigenous Australians, the initiative aims to establish an Aboriginal-owned business that creates career opportunities in the construction and building maintenance industries.

Our vision is to grow Parlkarna into an independent, Aboriginal-owned construction company, developing education and career pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. By working in partnership with these communities, we aim to contribute to closing the gap.

Partnership

Parlkarna and MBS FM share a unified vision: to build long-term partnerships with clients through comprehensive building and facilities management solutions.

MBS FM provides crucial support to Parlkarna, leveraging their extensive construction and facilities maintenance experience. This partnership is designed to empower Parlkarna as they grow and establish themselves fully independently. With MBS FM’s backing, Parlkarna can deliver exceptional service and build a solid foundation for future success, ensuring a seamless transition to independent operation.
